Etude house collagen cream and ampoule initial review

At first, I was really skeptical about Korean face products. I had read something a while ago about the "brightening" in Asian skin care was actually for whitening your skin. That's where this whole thing started. For years I absolutely avoided any skin care that even mentioned it.
Everything changed when my friend Clair, who as it turned out was really well-versed in Asian skin care, convinced me to try a skin care regimen. In general, I would just use moisturizer, face wash, nothing all that intense.
So basically between her and Beth who showed me the link to intothegloss's blog post about the nighttime routine I gave it a shot.
I got Etude house's collagen cream and ampoule essence from amazon. It arrived in good time, and I was really excited to try this out as the first step.

It was a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but thats probably my fault for not reading the description as thoroughly as I should have. It's really cute, instructions in English and Korean. I've been using it for about two weeks now, and I have actually had really clear skin since.

I had already been doing facewash, exfoliate (twice a week), toner, eye cream, collagen cream, and moisturizer.
Really, the only difference in my routine is I use the essence before the eye cream and replaced my ponds collagen cream with the Etude house version.

I normally break out when I add new things to my face. Honestly, I haven't really had any issues at all. My face looks healthier, brighter but I think it's more of it being even now even with no makeup rather than my complexion actually changing. I proved to myself thats totally a myth. It's only about 17 USD on amazon, so if anyone was wondering if it was worth it, I would say to give it a try. I'll probably buy a few more products from Etude house now just out of curiosity.
